The Objective

To build a brand that could stand toe-to-toe with Chowdeck — and eventually surpass it.

Swiftup approached us with a logo that was essentially unusable—a single JPEG, stock-like, and unownable. The client needed more than just a logo; they needed a brand capable of competing with established players like Chowdeck.

Unlike typical food delivery startups that focus on urban areas, Swiftup was launching in southeastern Nigeria, a region with unpredictable logistics networks. The challenge was creating a brand that could convey trust, operational sophistication, and reliability despite these constraints.

Our objective was to design a brand system rooted in Swiftup's engineered logistics and infrastructure—signaling premium reliability, operational precision, and market differentiation. This brand would scale across logos, apps, delivery vehicles, and beyond.

Rooted in infrastructure, powered by speed.

The initial competitive visual landscape was saturated with generic food delivery motifs—people running with food, reds and oranges everywhere. We needed a direction that communicated infrastructure, trust, and technological sophistication.

We explored multiple logo directions, lockups, and brand marks, integrating core ideas like location, connected road networks, and Swiftup's initials to symbolize engineered logistics.

Color choices and brand identity were confirmed with the client to ensure alignment with their vision. The final palette, messaging, and system reflected Swiftup’s brand values: speed, precision, accessibility, and reliability.

The brand tagline, 'Hot Meals, High Speed, Any Door,' encapsulates the promise: every order tracked, accounted for, and delivered—even where roads end. Swiftup is not just a delivery app; it’s a logistics infrastructure platform designed to dominate underserved markets.
